Activity: Festival Hide’n’Seek<\/h3>\n

Can you keep track of the festival chaos?<\/h3>\n

\"\"Big data and AI systems are closely related. On the one hand, large volumes of data are required to train AI algorithms, while on the other hand, the volumes of data described by the term big data can no longer be processed using conventional data processing methods. Instead, algorithms from the field of artificial intelligence are used for analysis. To make big data tangible, this box uses a hidden object picture in which many different stories are hidden. The students have to reconstruct these and analyse the data in the image.<\/p>\n

Working with a partner or in a small group, learners are tasked with reconstructing the stories told in the hidden object picture by analysing the data in the image. To do this, they search for the people in the picture and thus experience the importance of information filters in order to clearly recognise all the connections.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The accompanying information material shows the connection between the images in the hidden object picture and large amounts of data and explains their importance for AI systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span><\/span> activity<\/span><\/span> is<\/span><\/span> carried<\/span><\/span> out<\/span><\/span> in<\/span><\/span> pairs<\/span><\/span> or<\/span><\/span> small<\/span><\/span> groups<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> Each<\/span><\/span> pair<\/span><\/span>\/<\/span><\/span>group<\/span><\/span> needs<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
